What is Book Club Connection?
A website where readers and book clubs get free ebooks, matched to their taste, straight from the authors and publishers themselves. Tell us what you love to read. Get matched. Read on your Kindle or in your browser. Share a few quick thoughts when you finish. That's the whole deal.
Do I need to be in a book club?
Nope. Plenty of our readers fly solo. Think of yourself as a book club of one. If you are in a club, you get a superpower: every member can receive the same free book at the same time.
Is this another social media thing?
No. You don't follow anybody. There's no feed, no posting, and nothing is asked of you socially. If you talk to anyone, it's your own book club members. That's it.
What does it cost?
For readers, it's completely free. No subscription, no credit card. Authors and publishers sponsor the free copies because they want readers who actually match their books.
I was invited. Why am I on a waitlist?
The waitlist is our beta gate. We're letting readers in steadily so everyone's first experience is great. If you came through an author's or publisher's invite link, you're on their priority list, and invites go out every day. The waitlist goes away when beta ends.
Do authors see my name?
No. Authors and publishers see a match score and reading track record, never your name. Your post-read answers go to the author privately, not to the public. If you love a book, you can choose to join that author's mailing list. That part is always your call.
What's the story behind Book Club Connection?
Book Club Connection began in 2023 sending paperbacks to book clubs, straight from the authors and publishers. We've grown into a website where readers and book clubs get free ebooks matched to what they love to read, direct from the authors and publishers themselves, with transparent matching so you always see the books that fit you best.
What happens after I join the waitlist?
You'll get a confirmation from matchmaker@bookclubconnection.com (add us to your contacts). Your invite usually follows within a few days. Then it takes about five minutes to tell us what you love to read, and the matching starts.
